Who We Are

The original TUG was designed and built in 2010 by engineer Barry Kramer, for his own use and that of friends and family. His goal was simple: prevent the back, neck and muscle injuries that come from trying to physically push a heavy caravan into spots a tow vehicle can’t reach. Word spread beyond his circle, demand grew, and Barry began marketing the TUG across the country.

Since then, the TUG has been continually refined into what it is today: the fourth-generation TUG V4.

A New Chapter

Today, the TUG is owned and run by John and Nella. They’ve kept everything that made the TUG great (practical design, quality engineering and a genuine focus on making caravanning easier and safer) while continuing to build on Barry’s legacy.

We’re proudly West Australian owned and operated. Every TUG V4 is made in our factory using locally sourced and imported components, and each unit is individually built and rigorously tested before it leaves our hands.

We’re so confident in our product that we’re the only company in the world to offer a 10-year warranty on a caravan mover.
